Waraba and Morayfield: two different planning stories
A guide to the neighbouring growth area and where to find its current planning framework.

Waraba is a separate Priority Development Area west of the existing urban area. It should not be treated as another name for Morayfield’s neighbourhood plan.
EDQ’s project page identifies an interim land use plan and a proposed development scheme. These are planning frameworks, not evidence that a particular home, road or school has been delivered.
For residents, the useful questions concern connections to existing communities and the timing of infrastructure. Check the current EDQ documents before relying on a project status.
